Artist description
I may be electronic, but I wouldn't consider myself to be "techno". I have a wide assortment tonally and rhythmically, producing-wise I tend to be more mellow/ambient. I don't like to use a lot of distorted instruments.
Keyboards, mod (MED) tracker sequences, and vocals. |

Artist History
They couldn't stop me from singing and humming when I was in day care at 2 years old, and I wrote my first full-fledged song/piece when I was six on a Wurlitzer organ. Music and singing always has kept me going througout the hard times--I was always a reject to my peers when I was growing up--I never thought of things even similiar it never seemed to other people, so music was my way of expressing myself. By high school I made it to AllNorthwest and Allstate choirs, and sung in front of my entire school all four years at pep assemblies, the last time being my own material. Computers had already entered my life by this time (started in '86 on the C=64) and I was already trying to find ways of using a computer to create music--since to me music and just about everything is math anyway. '91 is when I really started getting into sequencing (Amiga, Med/Octamed), starting with samples, and in '94 brought in synth modules and have been trying to expand. I have tend to be very midi-mod oriented, and have a long way to go as far as utilizing samples, but I will be soon releasing new material that breaks many musical barriers--some of my own barriers as well as in general. |
