Artist History George Wesley, a native of Pennsylvania, is an internation recording artis as well as the president of Joy and Harmony records. George is also a dynamic vocalist in addition to a diverse and accomplished guitarist, keyboardist and bass player. George started off by playing in his father's country-western band. But after a diverse exploration of musical styles ranging from blues, rock, and jazz, in 1976 reggae's positive and spiritual message began to influence his music and life. Drawing from the example of his ancestors John and Charles Wesley, George has been taking reggae's positive message to the people. He has been touring the East Coast for over twenty years and is consistently a top draw at festivals and colleges. George has collaborated with many fine talents such as Sly Dunbar, Robbie Shakespeare, and Eddy Grant.
