Artist description 4/56 is an ever-evolving grouping of music including ambient, experimental, computer-generated soundings, as well as interactive multimedia and various creative endeavors.

Artist History 4/56 was created by composer Kristin Anderson as an extension of her previous music. Kristin's background is one of an academic composer, recently earning a Master's degree in music composition. She has written for traditional orchestral instruments, but it was her introduction to the classic electronic studio and musique concrete which shaped the beginnings of her interest in music and technology. Since then she has devoted her time to the digital manipulation of sounds, including real-time synthesis and sound installations.
