Artist History Entropy was founded about 6 years by Scott Salvas and Jim Dewald in Socorro, NM. Over the course of several years many different musicians passed through the halls of entropy lending their unique styles to the creative and disorderly process that forms Entropy. The current lineup was fully formed in the summer of '99 and has become the strongest Entropy ever. Entropy is currently playing many gigs in the Albuquerque area, as well as the rest of central New Mexico. Entropy plans to begin touring the rest of Southwest very soon!!! Finally, Entropy has just finshed recording their first major CD "Forsaken", which is currently availible.

While they’ve had a shaky history (like most groups), they found their sound a few years ago when they took on Clint Cowan as their lead singer. This group of somewhat-ragged Gen X’ers has much dedication to their music, which is a unique blend of rock and metal. The band’s members, Clint Cowan (vocals), Erik Luther (bass and vocals), Cinco Mandevil (lead guitar) and Scott Salvas (drums and vocals) are an unusual lot, with degrees and backgrounds in chemistry and engineering. Don’t let the beer fool you -- these guys are sharp.
