Artist History
In the world of rock and roll, "pop" has been turned into a bad word - and justifiably so. It's difficult to find a balance between accessible hooks and artistic integrity, to write instantly memorable melodies and still do something new, to mix an impossibly energetic live show with tight, precise harmonies and multi-layered vocals, but Arthur Woodale achieves exactly that. Taking their cues from sources as varied as The Cars, The Police, and The Beach Boys, Arthur Woodale writes intelligent pop music in the vein of Jimmy Eat World, Third Eye Blind or Teenage Fan Club. Despite their young age, Matt (vocals/guitar), Tim (guitar/vocals), Dubs (guitar/piano/vocals), Ryan (drums), and Tom (bass) have all been in some of Central Florida's most successful bands of the past half-decade, and together they create some of the most exciting and original music to come out of the area in years. With their intense live show and knack for melody firmly intact, Arthur Woodale brings their own infectious blend of pop and rock that's sure to leave you wanting more. |
