Artist History
Sean T. Drinkwater and Scott "Slain Tot" Roberge grew up in Somersworth, New Hampshire. They both like Duran Duran very much. Coincidently, they are also in another band called Lifestyle. Clancy Park grew up in Hackettstown, New Jersey. He is an Astrologer and owns a very grumpy cat named Evelyn. (You can hear her getting angry in the bridge of the song "Sweet Things.") Bankok Splendor and Commodore Vic20 both grew up in lovely Belfast, Maine. Belfast used to be known for it's chicken factory and lesbians, but now it's completely taken over by the credit card entity known as MBNA. Miss Splendor aspires to move to Los Angeles, where she can write scripts for television sitcoms. Vic writes most of the lyrics and music for the group. Lisa Carver once referred to him as a "performance artist" which left him quite flattered and bemused. Everyone in Veronica Black currently resides in Boston, Massachusetts, so they can be close to Saint Hubbins. |

Press Reviews
"[Veronica Black] is an over-the-top, odd duck of a band - part-glam, part-sleaze...They get to a rich, Pump-it-up sound when sexy nerd organist Bangkok Splendor and guitarist/synthisist Sean T. Drinkwater merged and drummer Slain Tot kicked butt."Jim Sullivan, Boston Globe, February 16th, 1998 "Undeniably brilliant...Their live show is a cross between a glitzy cabaret and a back alley freakshow as they tread that fine line between tortured genius and total absurdity. I am absolutely 0blown away with this CD."Joel Simches, The Noise #178 |
