Artist History In the summer of '95, Ken answered an ad in the "Recycler" that Bob had placed. Bob was looking for a guitarist to form a driving blues band. Bob and Ken saw that their tastes were much in line. This was to be the start of something that has shaped both their lives ever since.What makes a band, any band, work well is the chemistry - the "vibe" - between the band's members. This is where Tupelo Blue is quite fortunate. All the members are not only excellent musicians, but good friends that support each other both in and out of the band. We feel much of this comes through in our music. Our style of blues is difficult for us to categorize. There are jazz overtones in many of our songs and that is uncommon in much blues being played today. We hope you enjoy the songs provided here and it will encourage you to want to hear more of Tupelo Blue.
