Artist History
The Story of ToiL........Back in the summer of '94, Bob and Matt started playing together in a band called Zyxter Scat. They played many live shows and many parties as part of the now defunct New Mexico Rock Coalition. They continued to play live venues after the demise of the NMRC until October of '96, when the band had a "fallingout". Despite this event, Bob and Matt forged on with a new drummer. A new band called ManaTrip was born. For most of its existence, ManaTrip managed to survive without a vocalist, which made for an interesting and energetic show! Unfortunately, this euphoria could not last forever. The drummer, that ManaTrip was sure they would go all the way with, had an alternate agenda. Many titles, vocalists, and drummers later, ManaTrip evolved into what you now know as the kick band ToiL. AS of the end of summer '02 changes have again struck ToiL. Our ex-MANATRIP drummer 'JOE'is now the bassist, and MATT is now the singer, BOB is still the guitarist...and a drummer is yet to be solidified. Our allies are many and strong!! Listen to Magical Steel Radio to hear our horde of metal. |
