Artist description
My music alternates between spiritual introspection and the joys of everyday life; between mystical union and big grins; between divine rapture and personal intimacy. Acoustic guitar and vocals is my basic arrangement, but I love playing with new things and different instruments. Instrumentally, most of my songs are each centered around one musical idea, which tends to occur in its complete form at just one particular point in time. Often this point coincides with a clear statement of theme in the lyrics, and often it's near the end of the song. |

Artist History
I started playing the tuba in third grade. Then string bass, electric bass, classical guitar, electric guitar, 12-string, etc. I've always loved to sing, hum, whistle, and pound on things. I've played with a number of rock bands, folk groups, pit orchestras, school ensembles, and acoustic duets over the years; since 1987 I've been making recordings to entertain my friends. I believe the purest form of music is what we perform for one another in our living rooms. I hope these recordings can extend my living room to yours. |
