Artist description Thrust is an all original band out of Kansas City. Throughout the last couple of years they have gained quite a following in the region. In filling the clubs & theaters they play such a Roadhouse Ruby's Americas Pub, the Uptown Theater, Sandstone Amphitheater, Niener's, the Granada, and many more, no clubs have ever been disappointed with the backing of the band. The band also appears on many college radio stations around the country. Thrust has performed with such bands as Motley Crue after winning the Kick Start Your Career Battle of the Bands contest. Thrust was also one of thirteen bands to perform at Rockfest 99 at Sandstone Amphitheater with Sammy Hagar, Soulmotor, Local H, Pound, Honky Toast, and Collective Soul just to name a few. Other national acts Thrust has shared the stage with are L.A. Guns, Double Drive, Gilby Clark, Napalm Death, Firehouse, and after winning their second Battle of the Bands, Megadeth, Static X, and Loud Mouth at 98.9 The Rock's Freaker's Ball. Thrust musical style is in the hard rock category with catchy, hard driving riffs that groove. They are a hard hitting, in your face no B.S. live act to watch! So come out and check them out LIVE!

October Ross Breaks his neck when he flips his truck on the way to St. Louis for the final mix. November: Greg gets shot point blank in the chest breaking up a fight his friend was involved in. December: Jason's Appendix ruptures. 1996April Thrust reformed and was injury free. June 29th their first show at the Daily Grind with Hostility, Gutt wrench and Travail.
