Artist History
Originally billed as the Self-Righteous Brothers, the Dislocated Hipsters formed in 1989 with Bob Geary on guitar and vocals, Rick Schober on bass and vocals, and Cyril S. on drums. In 1991, Pat Egan replaced Cyril and Andy Sicard joined as second guitarist. In their five-year history, the band recorded 19 songs and one video, played two live shows, and received airplay on commercial and college radio stations in the Boston area. Although the band never officially broke up, they did eventually get real lives and stopped playing together in 1994. |
