    Artist History
Sue is an independent artist and has played all over the world, including Europe and Japan. She has opened up for many artists like Pearl Jam, Indigo Girls, Red Hot Chilipeppers, Bob Weir, and Acoustic Alchemy, and is also a recipient of an International Telly Award for her film compositions. She is also the voice behind a musical collaboration with film scorer, bassist, and recording artist, Patrick O'Hearn. A Grammy award winner, his electronic-based instrumental music is considered to be the foundation behind the ambient musical movement, not to mention the modern synthesized orchestral sound heard in today's film scores. Patrick's collaborative and side man musical efforts looks like a who's who of American Music. The list is long, including Frank Zappa, Missing Persons, Rod Stewart, Dexter Gordon, Mark Isham, Terry Bozzio, and Sam Shepard. Patrick and Sue were introduced to each other by a mutual friend and have collaborated since 1992. The recorded music was forged by Shannon Pengelly at Zoo studios in New York, and Clark Vreeland (formerly Meters member and Sub Dudes producer), Joel Rives and Eric Reed at RailRoad Earth in Atlanta, GA. Also heard here are several cuts from Sue's alternative groove blues project. London's Time Out says, "Hugely enjoyable pounding, stomping, riffing, rough-hewn, piano-driven R&B from the soulful and bluesy Wilkinson, ripping it up all the way from Atlanta, Georgia."
