Artist History The band was formed by singer/guitarist Matt Menovcik. After trying the singer-songwriter circuit, he decided to translate his songs to more of a band setting. In order to accomplish this, he enlisted the help of Lesli Wood on piano, who Matt had been in and out of bands with for about 10 years. The main idea of the project was to record an album and see what happened after that. To help round the sound out Erika Jacobs was brought on board to add cello to the sound. After the album was recorded, it was decided to expand the project and try to prepare for live settings. Since Erika was brought in on more of a gun-for-hire basis, a new cellist was sought. Her replacement is Bob Smolenski, who has not only hepled to expand the sound of the CD with his cello lines, but he has also aided building the website and adding a visual aspect to the live shows with with overhead projectors and film. Currently, the band is playing live shows and trying to promote the album.
