Ultra-Smooth, frozen yogurt jazz from a multi-instrumentalist and producer. Bright gets a nice wine-light glow... - Nick Dedina (Listen.Com) Robby Bright plays a smooth saxophone on the new CD collection, SOMETIMES YOU JUST KNOW, a collection that is sure to introduce his sound to new fans in the listening audience. Robby Bright pays attention to detail and each note has a fullness that is strikingly exotic. This 10 selection CD offers the following for listening pleasure: "Slow Jam," "Romance of a Lifetime," "Gotta Get Your Groove On," "The Word," "On N' On," "Heat," "In the Rain," "I Like," "Freestylin'," and "A World of Dreams." There is a special appeal about "In the Rain" and "A World of Dreams" which I came back to several times while listening to this CD, prior to writing this review.....something about these songs make each one unique, and a sweet listening experience, and I decided it was simply the beauty of Robby Bright's solo performances. Each song reflects Bright's good taste and excellent musical sensibility as a saxophone performer. SOMETIMES YOU JUST KNOW and this is one of those times, that this is a smooth winner, and Robby Bright has a great, new sound for the jazz listeners everywhere. Smooth! - Lee Prosser (Jazz Review)
