Artist description Lowrent is a jam groove band that plays mostly instrumental tunes. If the groove is happening, they'll go with it, otherwise they'll start up a new one.

Artist History It all started one day in the marching band. We'd play james brown style jams during warmup. Dave would play mean Fred Wesley licks during Pomp and Circumstance on his trombone. Joel could play Maceo solo's backward on his clarinet. Pat loved the headrush he got from playing the tuba, sort of opened him up to the psychedelic blues then he took it from there. Mike played the marching cymbals but man could he make them sing.
