Artist description
In the "sounds-like" department: Take some of that late-seventies New York sound, mix well with the immediacy of Joy Division or "154"-era Wire, pepper in some R.E.M. and you're part of the way there. Sometimes Black Sabbath crash the party, other times you're liable to hear Bauhaus. HETERODYNE is not a gothic band, but they're quite guilty of loving The Cure. |

Artist History
Five people get together and play music. Depths are explored. Perhaps someone will say something meaningful. This is the current state of modern rock.HETERODYNE are five people who get together and play music with hope of mining the depths of human life--who may just get away with saying something meaningful. No worries about being different or innovative--how can you in the well spent empty chasm of modern music? |
