Artist History Forty Three hits you like a ton of bricks”, Said by Glen Starkey of the New Times. Forty Three brings extreme power and catchy melodies to today’s music scene. Started in Atascadero, California in 1998, the Quartet has traveled the state packing venues large and small. By their third E.P. “Party Right Now”, they established a solid fan base. Not only in their area but though out the state. Engineer/Producer “Critter” (A Perfect Circle, Guns and Roses, and Ministry) heard the demo, impressed he attended a show in Pomona, CA. Blown away by the bands live performance ”The bands presence and energy is undeniable, you definitely had the rooms undivided attention!” He drafted up a shopping agents contract. Ironically the band gaining interest by some labels proved too time consuming for some of the members. The core of the band went on to record their Forth coming E.P. “Narrow Logic”. This album was written with more enthusiasm, intelligence, and drive than any of the previous albums. From Hatebreed like screams, to the melodic emotion of Fugazi; Forty Three’s vocal versatility is remarkable. Although using other to describe them they sound like no other. Their vocal melodies backed by guitar hooks and powerful drums, makes this band like no other. Forty Three’s passion for music has taken them far and will lead them even further in the future. With goals set high the love for playing live, being on the road, and recording will drive them to rise above and stand out from all other bands.
