Artist description
Dreamland is a new four piece instrumental act that dominates its sound with memorable melodies and swinging groove in a rock context. Their debut CD, Tales From Area 51, features 10 tracks fueled by the excellent guitar work of Sean Joplin and Derek Scott and the rhythm section of bassist G.T. Richards and drummer Jonathann Launer. Dreamland is all about groove and soul, the true essence of rock. One listen to tracks such as "Master Of Motion", "Leo's Chew Toy" and "Until We Meet Again" will convince you that this band is interested in connecting with a wide audience. |

Press Reviews
Their name matches the euphoric state in which you'll find yourself when listening to this wondrous instrumental rock, although it is exciting music that is unlikely to put anyone to sleep. Righteous riffs alternate beautifully with lovely melodies and the whole enterprise sparkles with class and taste while still rocking out -- a neat trick. Sean Joplin and Derek Scott of Dreamland show what can be done with a clutch of fine guitars, Jonathann Launer is consistently inventive on drums, and producer G.T. Richards is a joy on bass. Scott and Richards add sleek keyboard tracks that keep pushing the melodies further into your head. This will probably be used in retail outlets to demo great sounding speakers or to show how guitar tones should be recorded. Dreamland is at the cutting edge. G-MAN |
