Artist History Angell began performing at the tender age of 8. By the age of 12 she was already auditioning for Star Search and the School for Creative and Performing Arts. During her high school years she performed with a Grammy nominated choir, studied the violin and scenic/costume design. She has come a long way from those days in high school, and the success of her debut single is proving that. Angell's debut song held the #1 position on Lycos.Com's Listening Room R&B Charts for 12 consecutive weeks, and peaked at #4 on the Worldmusiccharts.com Blues charts! You can currently hear her song on several mp3 stations, along with various college and blues stations all over the U.S. Her debut album entitled, 'Indigo Blues', will be released around late summer of 2002.
