Artist description
The New Reggae! Winston is probably the greatest reggae artist that you don't know about yet and Well Charged is the greatest band you don't know about yet. Winston was the original singer of Zap Pow in the 60's and was commissioned by the Jamaican government to start a band to play at Expo in Canada in order to bring Jamaican culture and reggae music to Canada. Through many trials and tribulations Winston ended up in Guelph in 1998 and formed Well Charged with the only other original member Mr. Jake Janzen, an music engineering whiz. After another 5 years of trials and tribulations the band is swinging out in full force with their latest full length CD, Rukkus. |
