The record is distributed in Germany and the rest of Europe by We Bite ( Germ ). SPURGO play hard, punky and yet melodic rock, influenced by bands such as SPARKS, HUSKER DU and legendary Power Pop quartet CHEAP TRICK ( among others ). Main songwriter Patrik Widerberg ( Lead Vocals & Guitar ) is also heavily influenced by the American singer /songwriter tradition. This gives the band a very unique style and sound. SPURGO is now seeking contact with record and production companies, willing to work with a musically interesting and visionary act, ready to tour their brains out. ” Pop Leibel´s Guiar Wall ” was recorded in three weeks on a minimal budget in Sophiepark Studios in Malmö.
