Press Reviews
Sleens music sounds old fashioned in a nice way. The painfull, emotional singing and the nervous wave ritmes reminds of Frisian "Bries" bands like "The Visitor" at the beginning of the eighties. But the 3 voices singing together are making the guitar-pop of Sleen modern and actual. In short, a very interesting disc that can be bought at Sleen's own website. (Stadsblad Utrecht, october 1999) Nice music for divorce parties! (Opscene, october 1999) Raw, fast, passionated, smart, suprising and funny! (Casta) Creative wave ritmes and beautifull choral singing in 3 voices. (Pop 'n Cast) A crossover between Firehose and The Ex (Loony) Thank you very much !! (Magnapop) |
