Artist History
Phulla Phelayva found it's humble beginning deep in the heart of the Brazilian forests. Working 17 hours a day in the mines belonging to the South American Drug Cartel, Jeremy and Brook began to chant and sing melodies and harmonies to keep their hopes of freedom alive. These songs became popular among the slave colony, especially after guard (and secret resistance leader) Steve Bozzo began to beat rocks together in time to these compositions. Together they formed an underground movement, and in 1996, escaped to freedom with keyboardist/copper miner Jon Kelly and his Russian half-brother, Chris. Chris insisted on bringing along his two captive comrades Bryce and Tyler who had been fashioning crude horns out of animal pelts and human hair.As they migrated north, fleeing their captors and playing their music to others who faced persecution, they eventually started the resistance responsible for the destruction of Dr. Case and his evil drug empire. After inventor/philosopher Erin joined the band of freedom fighters, they received the currency they needed from patents she held on such items as Velcro and the Thigh Master, making it possible to recruit the Beautiful (and dangerous) European spy Melody, and the high profile American Rocker, Levi. The music they make today brings hope to millions of people around the world, and Jeremy's all-organic frozen yogurt company has opened chains in 9 of the 10 continents worldwide. |
