Artist History
DJ Maddness, formally DJ Emm and Double M, started with one song and a dream in 1999. That song was UptownDowntown, his first release. He soon followed that release with All Around, a song that mixes both electronic sounds and hip-hop. Next came Up High, which was just a simple electronic song, as was his next release Brace Yo Self. Then DJ Maddness moved on to his most ambitious song yet, The Beat. The song which changed the way he looked at electronic music, and the way he created it. The Beat was such a huge leap for DJ Maddness that his first cd, Vol. 1(The Beats), is named just for that one song. DJ Maddness then moved on to Jungle Fever, an electronic song that was his first commercial success, and gained exposure for himself. Jungle Fever is a rare mix of a song, one that combines latin, hip-hop and electronic music all in one. DJ Maddness then through together a quick song called Come On Baby, made while he was working on his next work, Space and Time. Space and Time is Dj Maddness's most "spacey song", but he thinks of it as a masterpiece, and was inspired to create his first true "dance" song, Get It Movin', which has become what seems to be his signature song, and his biggest commercial success. DJ Maddness moves on, woring on 3 songs as of March 2002. Hopefully all will ready in time for his next album, due October 2002. |
