Artist description
Since its existence 'deeplab' has developped and evolved many sonic shapes & structures. Its three constituents share a broad background of various streams & styles which contemporary, classical and even ancient music has to offer. It is therefore not surprising that among the offspring of deeplab are very distinct projects each with its own concept of form and function. Deeplab is an independent studio community located in Weesen, Switzerland. "deeplab is my experimental playground where musical thoughts and sonic landscapes materialize in their unique shapes & ways. There are no creative boundaries concerning form or function of the opus. Though there is an innate common sense of the aesthetics of sound within the deeplab community."'rho' aka René Luther (24)"Aleph has long been under the spell of slow and laid-back grooves, sensual atmospheres and ambient textures. While Ambient has been his secret and lasting love, constituting the pervasive backdrop for his musical work, his inspiration has been captured by various jazz-infected movements such as Acid Jazz and the early Drum'n'Bass/Jungle landscape. He's currently chasing the tails of elusive Ambient-Jazz hybrids."'aleph' aka Alex Gamma (31) |
