Artist description
Climate Control is a modern rock band out of New Orleans Louisiana. We mainly keep to the two guitars, bass and drums formula. Our music is fun and easygoing but slightly harder than most pop rock. We're just here to have a good time. |

Artist History
Climate Control came from the ashes of Spastix's Chicken. It was created by Danny Summitt and Rand Voorhies during their grade-school days. They decided to enlist Nels Beckman as lead vocalist and guitar player. Jonathan Pretus jumped on the bandwagon later on to fill in the roll of drummer. They've been writing original music together for several years now. Climate Control released their first full album "Clutch" in 2001 and are currently working on a follow up expected to be finished late in 2002

Press Reviews
From THE GREENIE (High School Newspaper): "Senior and member of Climate Control asked me to listen to their new CD, Not in Service EP, I was a little hesitant. Once I got around to hearing their songs however, I was honestly impressed... The songs they write are innovative and original, with complex harmonies... Their sound is similar to Blink 182's, but with an almost funk twist to it. The songs are upbeat and fun to listen to, not just because they are complex and interesting, but also because they are just good songs." by Julie Wasserman |
