Artist History
The assemblage materialised in the late stages of 1996. We performed in numerous underground concerts and clubs. It was an auspicious year for the band because they entranced made a discipleship in the underground music scene, despite the emanation of mainstream music. In the first quarter of 1998, came the unfortunate moment. Their drummer left the circle and the other guitarist had to leave for a while for some personal reasons. Fortunately, after the distressing event, came the presence of their new drummer and guitarist from Kabaong ni Kamatayan. They also employed sonical samples created by HOMINID,( the phils. first electronica). The group finally succeeded in its quest in juxtaposing ambient factors needed to materialise the what they call BULLETPROOF. Several elements can be traced in our music. It's a fusion of new metal/prog-rock mixed with melodic textures emulated from poppyish yet distinct sounds. Each musician employs a passage coming from individual influences trying not to be derivative but creating a balanced and focused original pallete of whitenoises. The lyrics are the vital part of bulletproof. It's the reflection and the "contrary element" of our music generating a contrasted appearance which gives our music a distinct sonic approach. |
