Artist History
Founded by Vaylor Trucks. Yeti began when Col. Bruce Hampton gave the phone number of Eric Sanders to a musically-deprived Vaylor Trucks. Their first rehersal together worked so well that they decided to try and frighten more people than just Eric's roommate. Vaylor had known Brooks through the Grapes so after their breakup (and subsequent reunions) he was a perfect fit (as those of you fortunate enough to have heard Brooks' solo CD know, he is quite an impressive musician.) |

Press Reviews
"I have not heard improvs like that since the days of Lifetime or MahavishnuOrchestra" - David Raczka
"Those of you who appreciate the arduous sonic gymnastics of bands like King Crimson and Mahavishnu Orchestra will eventually become Yeti fans, whether you like it or not. Resistance is futile." - Rob Johnson, Jambase |
