Artist History Music is no stranger to Tai Howard. This suburban Montclair, New Jersey belle grew up reciting Broadway musicals such as Annie and West Side Story. At the young, tender age of seven, she knew she wanted to perform. She performed at various Junior High and High School showcases, sharpening her style, grace and aura. It was then she partnered with two High School classmates to form the group Infiniti, which was immediately picked up by Michael Bivens' Biv 10 record label. The group would soon parted, but Tai continued in her quest. Now a solo artist, Tai brings her angelic, soulful voice to the forefront of the R&B realm.This is prominently evident in her debut up-tempo single, "I Want You", which sets the stage for this 19-year old songstress. Her breathy, soothing, yet rhythmic cadence along with the fusion of Hip-Hop, Jazz and even Salsa elements will melt hearts and have them yearning for more.With a wide range of genre influences such as Classic and Contemporary Jazz, 70's soul, Contemporary Pop, Classical and even World Music, Tai emphasizes her strides towards universal appeal, "The music I have come in contact with has greatly influenced my style of writing and delivery. I am looking forward to trying new and innovative ways to fuse some of the elements of my musical past with the music I am creating today."The world is watching, and Tai is ready to conquer it.
