Artist description
Dry harsh lo-fi guitar crackle with quaint minimalism and occasional droning texture. All sounds created using one unamplified prepared electric guitar (using electrical outlet plates, bottle caps, various scrap metal items wedged beneath the strings at strategic positions) and a tiny condenser microphone clipped directly to the strings. No effects, overdubbing, or amplification, all recorded live to one-track cassette. |

Press Reviews
"If you can take it, Preakness will blast your ears and mind, sucking you in with gentle, ethnic sounding arpeggios, before decimating your eardrums with an all-out atomic guitar assault that sounds something like Mecha-Godzilla's roar, only a touch feistier." - Listen.com |
