Artist description
Since exploding onto the New Orleans' scene, this quintet(sometimes sextet) has been shaking up audiences with their unique mix ofelastic New Orleans' funk and over the top psychedelic jams. Equally tightand loose, their grooves span the rich musical heritage of The Big Easy:sweaty late night funk, traditional New Orleans' rhythm and blues and secondline, Caribbean flavored jazz, and trippy, psychedelic rock. They put newtwists on time honored styles, staying true to the roots while lookingforward to the new millennium. Known for their penchant to take musicalchances, their live act has garnered well deserved attention as somethingthat is unique unto themselves. |
