Artist History Xpando was one of the first underground techno producers in Los Angeles, since 1991 baby!

Group Members Michael Knapp AKA Xpando, Owner and main music producer of Bassex Records and Black Licorice Recordings. DJ Eric Davenport, Veteran Underground House DJ.

Instruments Xpando uses a large collection of rare vintage analogue synthesizers and effects. Also uses Macintosh G3 computer with Emagic Logic Audio for Recording

Albums Metro LA "Space Park Drive" CD release on esp/sun-Roadrunner, plus various 12" vinyl releases on Bassex/Black Licorice Recordings. Knapp/Davenport also appear on the Chemical Brothers CD "Brothers Gonna Work it Out"
