Press Reviews
MUSIC TRADER- May 97"Left Nut are a manically-hyperactive rock-n-roll outfit from Perth who seem to have fun as long as they're playing their own brand of heavy-quirky rock. This release constitutes their first full length CD and it's packed with dynamic and twisting rock progressions that will have you head-butting the ceiling with demented joy. Not content to rely on guitar, bass and drums, Left Nut have been known to incorporate the sonic properties of bag pipes, tin whistles and cordless drills into their music- to great effect! Super tight ska-inflicted keyboard work adds significantly to the Left Nut package and works well considering the members are of greatly varied musical origins. It isn't often that such a forceful and disparate band gets it all together in the right places, but when they do, it is utterly worth it." |
