Artist History Funky Brewster consists of Vernon Wallace (lead vocalist) age 32, whose voice is said to be a mix between Darius Rucker and CoryGlover (go figure), Jason Pratt (lead guitarist) age 26, who besides being a Jazz major at University of North Texas is a very accomplished rock and funk guitarist, Don Whittemore (bassist) age 31, a most original and creative bassist and sound engineer and Joe Goodman (drummer) age 27, a very aggressive drummer with a mind for complicated and daring arrangements. Funky Brewster’s debut EP “Follow The Noise,” has done very well in the rock/alternative market. In fact “Follow The Noise” captured two consecutive Z-Rock pick of the week nominations nationwide. This EP has also caught the attention of A&R representatives from Atlantic, Interscope, Epic, Geffen and Mercury Records.
