Artist description DJ_Jitterset plays in a self de[con]structive style, sometimes reffered to as 'The New Crash' (D.er N.eue A.bsturz). He seems to be working from a pop-type base, with alternating verse-chorus blocks, stripped of most of the vocals. Jitterset then overdubs later and earler segmants, sniping and looping, util a sustanable pattern emerges. The evolving piece holds in this pattern, like a Kabuki freeze, for a few moments and then falls back into the shuffle, reabsorbed for rekombination and reframing. The resulting tracks are rich in texture and seemingly meaningful--yet empty of content. Read into this stuff what you like.
