Artist description Database is a privately-funded research project that rescues former musicians from the cruelties of mental hospitals and gives them well-prepared meals, a comfortable living facility, and as much equipment as they need. In return, we only ask that they are constantly subjected to random sounds beamed in directly from the central Database computer. This technological marvel of modern science is linked to several orbiting satellites, which constantly monitor and record noise and music found in various parts of the world. Our job is to supply our patients with a musical output for the sounds they hear 24 hours a day. So far, results have been favorable, and we are beginning to recruit a surprising number of talented former musicians who need our help. Please read the Database FAQ for more information.
