Artist History The proud city of Trelleborg, situated at the southermost coast of Sweden sports a minimal scene for extreme metal, consisting of one band, namely Terminal Disease. The group was spawned as a avant-garde rock outfit in Trelleborg, early 1998, what was then Corrode slowly developed into a sound aching to brutal death/thrash metal during 1999, perfecting their sound with the sucessful demo "Out of the Ashes" late that year. The change of name to T.D. came naturally at the beginning of the new millenium and confirmed the members devotion to the new, unique sound of the group. Terminal Disease mixes influences from many genres within metal with a highly personal twist. Fast death metal brutality coalence with more melodic passages and slow, chrushingly heavy dirges, always with John's tormented vocals and Andreas's scheeching guitar wanking on top to perfect the formula.

Press Reviews TERMINAL DISEASE "MORTALITY", self-released (2000)Terminal Disease is what you get when you mix "Ride the Lightning"-era Metallica guitar sound with Burn My Eyes-style aggressive vocals, which sometimes venture into death metal territory. It all makes for a potent blend of simple, thrashy death metal. I suppose you could lump Terminal Disease in with those Swedish thrash bands like Corporation 187 and The Haunted, but these four Swedish headbangers play with so much more skill and memorability. The kick triplets rule!
