Artist description
A power trio of consequence. Buzz The Monkey hits it hard and heavy with an incredible sound. Their music has been called "Progressive, inventive, in-your-face, loud, etc." Born out of the guitar shredding 80's, influenced by the progressie bands that folowed, Buzz The Monkey forges into the future. There is hope for heavy metal. |

Artist History
1999-March 2000-We are still around. Hopefully the gigs will start and the music will flow. Buzz The Monkey (BTM) is still rockin' and we won't stop! BTM had a somewhat favorable review by HM mag-read below- hopefully we'll have more money to blow and can increase the subpar rating they gave for production. BTM is always working on new music and we almost have enough to record a new album. That's about it for now, God Bless -- Don't let music mediocrity get into your soul -- |

Press Reviews
HM MagazineMarch/April issue #82-Here's some experimental progressive metal with more originiality than most bands could ever have. Accomplished muicianship and extensive variety are definitely the strong points of this CD, making for a solid indie release. On the downside, the production is sub par and the music often lacks the punch of the typical metal sound. --David M. Pogge What can we say, it's our first and only review to date! |
