Artist History
The Bob Bartosik Quartet rose from the ashes of the popular 415 Quintet in San Francisco in late 1999. Bartosik continues on in both San Francisco and San Diego bases. Late of Housecoat Project (Subterannean Records) and various punk ensembles (sideman for Bomb- Warner Brothers), Bartosik rediscovered his jazz roots in the mid 90's. Bartosik started writing jazz tunes and decided to go out on his own. Bob also played with the Isosceles Quartet, One Nation Underground and the Faraway Brothers in San Francisco. |
