Artist History Blufong was founded by Randy Jones, Chris Stults, and Rick McCoige in 1987. In the beginning we corresponded with 4 - track tapes and lyric sheets thru the mail. In 1990 Randy made the move from Indiana To Nashville to start recording the songs they had been working on.In late 1990 we added an old friend to the lineup, Jon Thacker joined forces with Blufong as our keyboard player and fellow songwriter. In 1991 we hooked up with the Dept. of Defense and went on tour of Saudi Arabia shortly after the end of the Gulf War. Started as mainly a recording project/band we still maintain that goal and have been having fun ever since.
