Artist History
Creating original music since the 1980's. The band rarely plays publicly, but when they do, they pack the house with a reputation for incredibly surrealistic shows. They do not show themselves in public. This band hails from the diverse band meca of the southeast, Chapel Hill, N.C. The D.A.M. CD "The Twelve Embarrassements" was mastered "hot", so be prepared for some aggressive volume on this one. All of the bands music is digital, recorded and produced with the web in mind, and can only be aquired from internet sources. These two albums are available exclusively from mp3.com! "The focus here is to create the band experience within the internet alone. No physical space required". In a live performance setting, the band will transmit the performance to the venue from a unspecified location, or play in performance costume. A special note of thanks to all the listeners for your support and helping us reach #1 with "Something Special"! and #2 with both "I'm Too Thin" and "I Guess I Though It Was". All the songs on this site have charted within the top 40. The two albums mentioned above tell a story about a brutal existence and desperate social isolation. Also, be sure to check out the funky new re-mix of "I Guess I Thought It Was" by Australian artist "Descend Here. |
