Artist description
Songwriters and friends with acoustic guitars...
Angst is a fabulous songwriting team from the NYC & NJ area; while their often intricately patterned, intensely acoustic, guitar music, draws primarily from the blues, they manage to blend together many different sounds and styles. However, the music only serves as a fitting backdrop for their own abstract, sometimes humorous, ironic and purposefully existential lyrics-occasionally bordering on the absurd. Their songs also contain subtle vocal harmonies, introspective journeys (real and/or imagined), flat-picking, slide guitar and driving rythmic arrangements.

Press Reviews
Here's what they're saying about Angst for the Memory:
Two Piece Heaven...
Subtle harmonies vocally, choppy acoustic rhythm, and words we can all relate with.
What more could one ask for? Tenacious D? Not.
This is a couple of guys who really did some good work-no buzz no hum no bass overload...
This great acoustic guitar duo is kinda-folky, kinda-bluesy, kinda-brilliant...
Damn fine lyrics and fantastic guitar work.
Angst For The Memory's Sand on Razin, has an acoustic groove that will move you.
