Artist description Basically everything revolves around everyone associated with Microdot Records. Vent is constantly changing and reshaping for every song. But as a general description, VenT likes to take the average electronic sounds and mix them in with a little bit of heavy guitar, bass, and vocals. Not exactly something that has never been done before, but definitely off the beaten path from the norm.

Music Style Bounces all over the board. But as stated by someone else..."Experimental techno rock-rap." Basically... hip-hop feel with an added little twist. Keeps you on your toes.

Musical Influences Too many to list completely, but a few are: Incubus, 311, Depeche Mode, Orgy, Front242, Ministry, NiN, Prodigy, and the list goes on.

Artist History Most of the songs on the Welcome To My World album, are written solely by myself, Jeff, with the help of JiXeR. These songs have been in my head for many years, with no where to come out, until VenT formed. I can remember when I was growing up, and the hard times that I had to go through. I always turned to music. It made me feel better to listen to a song that I could relate to and think that there was someone else in the world that understood what I was going through. That is the main reason I make music now. Even if no one else were to ever hear it but me, I would still create it for just the experience of writing and recording and relaying my feelings and thoughts at the time.

Group Members Jeff - lead vocals, bass, synth, and some guitar / Matt-JiXeR - guitar, synth, and various other midi instruments / Will-KruX - extra vocals, everything else / Producing - The entire microdot crew, but primarily Jeff.
