Press Reviews
With their debut album on the launching pad, Vancouver’s Waltz Darling is not a band that positions itself to revolutionize modern rock. But with their crafty hooks, edgy sly guitar licks and powerhouse rhythm section they are poised to be counted as an act which, at the very least, will help save our bacon from frying in a bit of boredom as we roll into the 21st century.
The boys thunder onto a stage with an intense live energy and a sound that rests comfortably in the classic alternative niche of hell raising pure pub rock for now people. With touch points that grace The Clash, The Talking Heads, The Kinks, The Ramones and a cast of thousands, this is a band that hit’s all the right chords and just in time for last call. Burp, pour me another bartender and pass me a towel, Waltz Darling is all about dancing and unprententious kick ass rockin goodtimes? A refreshing twist that should not be missed.
