Artist History
Under was formed in Oakland, CA. in early 1996, and has since come to be known throughout California and beyond for their catchy, groove-based riffs and crushing sound. Featuring ex-Kronix vocalist Chris Long, ex-Machine Head guitar tech Jack Cargile and drummer Hugo Barrientos, Under has a sound that is true to the traditional Bay Area style of metal, yet possesses a crunch unlike any other. Through word of mouth, stellar demos and shows with bands the likes of Machine Head, Sevendust, Snot, Skinlab, Exodus, Spineshank, MIRV and many others, Under has gained a tremendous amount of support and established a huge following throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. |
