Artist History
After honing their skills in San Francisco's sordid array of seamy bars for years while steadily recording slabs that inexplicably fused rock, hip-hop, and rock to round confusion from A&R folks everywhere, Truman hired ex-Mumblin' Jim bassist B. Bob and cut a record that even they can swallow: a tight new combination that sounds like heavenly funk with a throbbing hard rhythm section supporting the grace and punch of Tate's guitar virtuosity, Laos' searing melodies and lots o' harmonies Ethereal, antiquated synthesizer by Powell completes the mix. |

"Deep down inside you know they rock way harder than their milquetoast contemporaries... Truman Peyote produces its funky rock n'roll with superb musicianship."
