BAND LOCATED ON THE BORDER OF KY.; OHIO; WEST VIRGINIA IN THE HILLS OF EASTERN KY. and ON HIGHWAY US 23(The Country Music Highway)OUR NAME OUT OF CIVIL WAR BOOK IN WHICH A SOLDIER WAS DESCRIBING HIS FEELINGS ABOUT THE WAR.1994 BAND FORMED BY SEAN SAUNDERS AND SHAWN SEXTON in 1995 THE BUD AND DAVID SEXTON JOIN UP AND BECOME REGULARS AT THE COUNTRY MUSIC HIGHWAY CAFE,a place to showcase local talent.NOW IT'S DAD AND TWO SONS. ENTER MIKE DELAWDER whose various voices give The Band great versatility, STACEY KEETON AS BASS PLAYER,AND WHAT WAS ONCE JUST A HOBBIE IS NOW A FULL TIME JOB AND WE LOVE IT!1999 Exit Stacy Keeton and Sean Saunders.Enter Gary Dillon,drums and Keith Garvin,bass which lets the band become much more versatile. Chris Daniels replaced Gary Dillon on drums in 1999. Buddy Sexton, while still a major part and contibutor of the band, had to step away from the touring part due to health reasons. Dave Sexton left the band in 2000 and now is happily married with a daughter and pursuing a carrer in the NASCAR industry. Dave still gets to sit in with the band from time to time. |
