Press Reviews
Northeast Performer May 1998-
"...just listen to the CD. It's anything but typical. In fact, there really is nothing that can be compared to it, and much like the ostrich itself, they are in a class and an order all by themselves. with a line-up of performers named as intriguing as their sound, The Ostrich Farm vow to "knock down the musical barriers that divide rock 'n' roll...Well, anyone who enjoys samples, trancy beats'n' bass lines and an unorthodox vocal flow, will flip for The Farm. With their strategic deployment of eccentric effects and eclectic influences, there is something on this CD for hust abour everyone. There are spacey techno beats and distorted guitar lines colliding with OF's trademark "Alien B-Boy Redneck" rhymes. There are strange synth generated freek-uencies, and just about the craziest song subjects you could ever imagine." -Allan Levesque |
