Artist History Initially with 5 members, *The Essentials* never really had a name, never had a chance to practice, were all self-taught, basically sucked, and didn't know whether they wanted to be punk, ska, alternative, soft rock, disco, country, the list goes on... Now down to only Jared & Aram, a computer (for nintentdo drums), and the help of Cool Edit (to make the songs presentable), *The Essentials* have put together the sequel to there first album Tchau Mãe (1998). Released in January of 1999, the two song EP called And Then There Was 2 will definitely make its mark in the pop-punk scene.
