Artist History
Stimulus date back to 1923 when the late Lionel Finch burnt his brow on a spent match. Re-kindled in 1994 the band have been through many differnet guises, all maintaining their distinctive sound. The band's biggest rise to the public eye was in 1996 when they visited Bosnia and played at the Umjetnost Slobode festival in Tuzla with such acts as Dodgy (who are a kack incidently) This excursion across Europe spawned UK national press coverage and even an appearance on MTV.The band have recently taken a new drummer on board and are rehearsing for their next tour. |

Press Reviews
Yesssss!!! A welcome mixture of Camembert Electrique style Gong/Hillage with the rougher edge of Cardiacs... bits of the stripped-down prog – the 80's prog of Twelfth Night and IQ, all very much of a warm demo production quality but that makes it kind of special... (www.organart.com) |
